Our black lava is screened to remove all fines. The size range is 1/8" to 5/16". It is a great addition to bonsai soil and is used as a drainage layer and top dressing. The color is dark black when wet and turns a dark grey when dry. Drop us an email with your address if you would like to see a small sample before ordering.
1 cubic foot is approximately equal to 7 1/2 gallons.
