Japanese and Chinese Bonsai Pots

Our glazed and unglazed Japanese bonsai pots represent the highest quality obtainable. The clay consists of finer particles, and the pot is fired at a very high temperature to prevent winter damage. Our Chinese bonsai pots are perfect for bonsai, dish gardens, orchids, or house plants at a fraction of the cost of our Japanese ceramic pots. We also offer Japanese plastic bonsai pots and plastic humidity trays. Individual Japanese and Chinese pots and trays are 20% off the retail price, sets are 30% off.

Tokoname Bonsai Pots

Pottery from Tokoname, a city in Aichi Prefecture, is known as the “City of Ceramics”. Quality pottery from this area dates back more than 900 years. These kilns are recognized around the world as producing superior pottery from high quality clay, and are some of the largest and oldest kilns in existence. Tokoname-ware is known by all bonsai enthusiasts as the best of the best. Sorry, these pots aren't on sale.

Shigarak Bonsai Pots

Shigaraki bonsai pottery is made from high quality and resilient clay. Although not as well know as Tokoname, Shigaraki pots are just as high quality with some very interesting clay patterns and bonsai pot shapes. Sorry, these pots aren't on sale.

Korean Mica Bonsai Pots

Our mica pots have the appearance of unglazed ceramic bonsai pots but are less expensive, unbeakable, and hold up for years through all weather conditions. Mica pots are 20% off the retail price.
